Piqastrophe!!

Sooooo last night in Barcelona's 4-0 win against Rayo Vallecano, Pique picked up his 5th yellow card this season. Now you may be thinking, okay another yellow, he misses the next match, gets a clean slate after and all is good!! BUT!!! The next match for Barcelona is against Levante, which Pique would be unable to play in...the  match after that however is none other than the Holy Grail of football games, the El Clasico. Real Madrid v. Barcelona!!

Pique would enter into this game having a full clean slate, no yellow cards to his name. Looking at last nights match we can see that Pique picked up a yellow for deliberate time wasting (he took 20 seconds to take a defensive kick)

Now I don't want to jump to conclusions, there may be a rational explanation as to why Pique took sooooooo long to take his kick. He was bedazzled by the image of Shakira shaking her hips maybe?? But it seems to me and I'm sure many others that this was a deliberate attempt to gain a yellow, in order to avoid missing the El Clasico match.

Barcelona who many like to believe never dive *cough* Busquets *cough* and ALWAYSSS play by the rules, may find themselves in hot water due to the new Royal Spanish Football Federation Code Disciplinary Code 2011. (Article 112)

“Any player, who during the course of a game, provokes a fifth booking may be sanctioned with, in addition to the penalty provided for in the first paragraph of this article [a standard one-game ban], an extra one-game suspension and fined the amount of 600 euros. In determining the intent of the player, circumstances will be taken into account such as the nature of the breaching of the game rules and the attitude of the player during the match.”

As a Madridsta...I find this all very amusing :)
I apologise if I have come across as extremely biased and a touch evil in this post :)

Silent...Mourinho Is Speaking

"We're not training much at the moment because we've only got five men available. A league stoppage is more than enough for me because I like to play every week. I lack something when I don't play a game."
"The 2/3 April stoppage is something the League Federation and the clubs have to sort out. We professionals will do whatever needs to be done, knowing we have to play 38 games with or without a stoppage. We await the final decision without much excitement."

"We knew Cristiano Ronaldo's trip to Portugal was just so that his national coach and the medical staff over there could check the tests he underwent in Madrid, which were very clear. I hope he recovers in time for our game against Tottenham Hotspur. Judging from the mentality he has we believe he will make it, but it will be tight. A return like the one he had against Lyon to help the team will always be welcome."

"Gonzalo Higuain played a practice game for the first time today. I used players from Castilla in order to have two sides of eleven players each. He played 60 minutes divided in two 30 minute halves. He's not fit yet, obviously, but he's walking. I don't know if he'll be ready to face Sporting, but he'll be ready soon if not. We would welcome his return. It will be important to have him in order to face the many games we have yet to play until the end of the season."

"I've never hidden my desire to return to England some day, but there are three more years left on my contract and I intend to see them through and to work hard to make the Board, the fans and the players happy. If I manage to do this I will see those three remaining years through and maybe even carry on with a new contract. I currently feel everyone is happy with the job we're doing. Real Madrid is my near future."

Let all us Real Madrid fans pray for a easy return for Higuain. It has been tooooo long without him and I know he will come back and unleash his awesomeness on the pitch very very soon. We love you Gonzalo :)

For Club And Country

It's that time of year again...the time where the national teams come together and provide us with many entertaining and cute ass photos we football fans can squeal over :D. These boys are the very best, picked to play for their country and they know there shit...let's take a look.

The English

With John Terry back as captain and some fresh, new talent in the squad. It seems England may be back on track and ready to take over. (Or if your like me and Scottish, wish that they crumble and fall...I'm just kidding, Scotland's national team is shit, I can't diss anybody else's :p)

The Germans

These well sculpted German men are a tough team to beat and with shining players such as Mesut Ozil, they are ready for battle. Now lets just sit back and enjoy these fine specimens.

The Russians

To be honest...I'm not all that familiar with the Russina national team...but I'm sure anybody born into a country that specializes in vodka is a winning team ;)

The Spanish

The world cup winning, most good looking team...possibly ever, hot ass Spanish boys are the team that every other country wants to destroyyyy (Portugal already did so 4-0 :\) But yeah, as you can see I've included a lot more photos of the Spanish team...well because there my faveourite and are gorgeous pieces of eye candy...enjoy.

Oh there's also some Sernando in thier ;)

Cristiano Ronaldo Junior - Just Like His Daddy

These photos were taken on the 6th of March...better late than never lol. I can't believe how much he has grown though, he is looking so much like Cristiano...he is for sure going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up :) again just like his Daddy :p.

The Torres Family - Fernando's Birthday Day Out

Here is the Torres clan, Fernando, Olalla and little Nora and Leo in the backseats with thier Nanny I'm guessing. They were pictured leaving Stamford Bridge after Fernando's team won 2-0 against Manchester City...it also happened to be his birthday, 27 years young :) and still a hottie ;).

This family makes my heart melt, they are so beautiful and not your typical footballing family, e.g The Rooneys or Gerrards. So relaxed and normal and thats why I love them :D

You rock Torres family.
