“Emmanuel Adebayor had his required medical on Thursday at Sanitas-La Moraleja Hospital. According to Dr. Carlos Diez, who oversaw the process, the player has a "tremendous physique. He is in very good health and is able to begin training immediately."
Emmanuel Adebayor has passed his medical for Real Madrid. The former Manchester City player, now on loan to Real Madrid for the rest of the season passed with flying colours and is now ready to unleash his inner animal at Real.
Here's some background history on the new boy at Madrid...
He was voted African World Footballer of the year in 2008.
Has previously played for two premiership teams including Arsenal and Manchester City.
He scored 46 goals at Arsenal in 4 seasons there and 15 at Manchester City in his 2 season there, with only 5 goals scored in 12 appearances this season for Manchester City, only 1 goal in the league so far.
Soooo...here's to hoping he does well at Real and scores lots of pretty goals for us. Hopefully he can flourish under Mourinho. In my opinion I think Ruud Van Nistelrooy would've been better, but seeing as Hamburg are refusing to let go him and are locking him away in a tall German castle far away from us...we will have to make do with Adebayor.
But I'm willing to give the guy a chance, he is a good player and I think he can adapt to the new and improved Real. Fingers crossed :)
