UEFA Charge Mourinho and Real Madrid Players

The UEFA have charged Jose Mourinho plus four Real Madrid players (Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Xabi Alonso and Jersey Dudek) with unsporting conduct. This was after the champions league match between Real Madrid and Ajax on Tuesday night. Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso were sent off for time wasting during the game. Being red carded meant they would miss the next game against Auxerre, however having already qualified the game isn’t too important. However it means they would have a clean sheet and not carry any threat of suspensions when they reach the knockout stages.

The players and coach may be fined or suspended. Fingers crossed it’s a fine. In my opinion it was a smart move on Mourinho, players do it all the time and I think the UEFA is just singling Real Madrid out, after Jose was banned previously. The UEFA should be focusing their attention onto getting video technology into football and improving referees (not that the referees are bad, just some, not all) rather than doing this to Real Madrid. Lots and lots of teams use this method, it’s a fact.

So you guys got any opinions on this? I’d like to hear them.
